A Rare Chinese Tea Canister with Beautiful Label Probably Mid-19th century Retains a paper note which reads "This is tea canister from old China in Northern part. North of Shanghigh my neighbors told me. She came from Shang[?] and he knew this old box and read the words. Very old. The Millers had it a long time too."5.1/2 in. high, 4.3/4 in. wide, 2.1/4 in. deep Condition: This piece remains in wonderful state of preservation with only a few losses to the paper label around the edges of the canister. Several minor indentations and areas of discoloration. Someone wrote in graphite on the base "this is zink.
