19th Century Victorian Cast Iron 2pc Fireplace Summer Cover & Surround. Both have been recently sandblasted and primed. Ready to paint! Highly ornamented, American antique cast iron interior fireplace two-piece summer cover. The ornate surround is 31.5"T x 28"W, made by T Bent & Son N.Y., style No. 168. The summer cover features a center pierced cartouche with ornate pierced floral design below. It measures 26"Tx16"W. It was made by James L Jackson & Bros style N. 252, it also has B 168 hand punched in the iron above the makers name. The summer cover fits perfectly into the surround. Likely manufactured mid to late 1800s. Thank you!
