T his is a 19th century Japanese tobacco box (tonkotsu) . It is beautifully hand carved wood. The man's face is removable as the opening. The ( ashinaga) long legged man, pipe holder is over 8 inches long. Both are in excellent condition. These pieces were in a tobacciana collection of an elderly person who sold them to me . They have also been authenticated. They are unique pieces!Hi, I'm going on vacation with my wife and won't be back until March2nd.At that time I will ship items sold. I can answer emails though.
