Beautiful Museum Quality large Salt Glazed Stoneware Jug or Water Pitcher, depicting maybe George Washington on one side, Eagle on Shield other side. Elaborate design with great sharp molding. Unmarked. Believed to be Mid19th Century English. Maybe Brampton Pottery. If you know more about this item, please let me know.Size: 9 3/4" high x 8 7/8" wide from spout to handle x 4 3/4" deep. After the well-known 1805 Eccleston medal. Much rarer than most Liverpool designs for Washington Sold at Heritage Auction in 2004 for $1380.
