NEW ITEMS LISTED ON A REGULAR BASIS. Article Description: Hand painted over transfer, Victorian, Imari pattern Dresser Jug. The blue decoration has 'blead' here and there. I believe they're earthenware (not porcelain by any stretch of the imagination) - the composition is 'light' for it's size. A very decorative piece of English Victoriana! At the time of listing, I have the other matching 'graduated' Dresser Jugs for sale in the shop! Markings: No marks to base. Condition: In very good condition for the age - some slight wear/rub here and there to the gilt/gold but, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration present. Glaze crazing has ocurred but is commensurate with age.
