Description: a fine early 19thc, decorative shaped elliptically cut lobe lower body designed, guest wine decanter. Thick straight neck with panel elliptically cut lobe design , and under base smoothed pontil . This is correct as seen, with no stopper: originally used to serve, fortified wines, spirits or wine in individual "guest" measures at table! Condition: good. There is a small amount of wear, as expected. Dimentions: height at 7 inches, diameter is at 4.5 inchdes. A fine example from my own decanter collections, gathered over several decades.
