19 th Century Sevres Caroline Bonaparte Hand Painted Portrait Cabinet Plate signed Georget Outstanding antique 19 th century Sevres porcelain hand painted portrait plate of Caroline Murat (nee Bonaparte). Caroline was Napoleon’s younger sister and Queen Consort of Naples and Sicily and Princess Consort Murat. The plate has a cobalt blue border decorated with gilded Napoleon’s crest. It is signed by the artist, J. Georget. The plate was made between 1804 and 1809 by the Manufactory Imperiale de Sevres, and is marked “M Imple de Sevres”. Excellent condition.
