Very Rare!! Golden Press 1st Edition (1953) - USA Edition The Adventures of Tintin - Destination Moon This is a rare and true collectors item! I obtained this book some years ago from an American dealer having collected Tintin Books for over 20 years. It is one of the very few I have come across where the spine is fully in tact - they are normally very badly damaged or missing. Condition: I would say that this book is in very good condition given it is now 58 years old. I have inspected the book in depth, there is some browning to the pages around the perimeter of the pages (due to age). The pages are all in tact, clean, bright with no damage. On the inside front and back cover there is some writing in red ink, presumably from a child and the original owner. This does not affect any of the pages or the overall condition. As stated, spine all in tact, binding tight. The outside of the cover is clean with general bumping to the edges and corners. The cellophane protective layer is missing and flaking in some places but the cover is in great condition.I have tried to describe this the best I can and the pictures are actual scans, warts and all, of the book from my scanner as this gave the best clarity. Reluctant to part with this as it is one of the best copies I have seen in years!! This book is valuable and therefore I will only read more
