For sale is an excellent example of a Military OBE Medal in its original case of issue. The medal is genuine and is is an excellent condition with a nice tone to it. The 1st type medal was awarded between 1917-36, although the hallmarks will help pinpoint the date it was awarded. I have taken an extra picture of the back of the medal as it does show some sign of repair, although I cannot be certain that this is the case. The medal comes in its original "Garrad and Co" box which itself is in an excellent working order. Please note I have added a new photo showing the hallmarks on the medal. Date mark for 1919. Incidentally I have a citation listed on eBay of the same date, but they are not an actual pair (ie this medal was not issued to the person listed on the citation).
