GENUINE CONCENTRATES FROM THE FAMOUS GOLD BEACH IN NOME ALASKA Hello and Welcome! Up for Auction we have 2+ pounds of Gold Bearing Beach Sands from the world Famous Gold Beach in Nome Alaska. In 1889, the 'Three Lucky Swedes' discovered gold along Anvil Creek. A small mining camp was assembled, and Gold was found among the Beach Sands the Follwing Year. Thousands flocked to the site after hearing of this amazing discovery, and the Town of Nome was soon Established. Raging Storms from the Bering Sea, along With Huge Fires in the city, destroyed the town of Nome multiple times. The Beach Sands were so rich, however, that the town was rebuilt after each catastrophe and still stands today. Surrounded by untamed Alaskan Wilderness, the city of Nome and the surrounding areas have become known as some of the most picturesque in the World! Lying just Footsteps away from the Well Known GPAA Cripple River Mining Camp, Hundreds still flock to the Beaches with each new mining Season in search of their Golden Fortune! The Beach Sands in Nome are one of only a few places in the world were Elemental Gold can be found amongst the beach gravels. This is due to the erosion and subsequant deposition of the Gold Rich mountains in the vincinity. As the Gold washes out to sea in the Creeks and Streams, the Violent Fall and Spring Storms in the Bering Sea Redeposit it along the coastline. An experienced Miner can walk along the beach and tell you exactly w to find gold, just by looking at the color of the sand. As with Normal Stream Placering, the gold lies in areas concentrated by water and tides. Lines of thick Black and Red sands can be seen amongst the Normal Blonde Sands, and those areas are chalk full of Gold! Unlike Stream Placering, however, the sands associated with Beach Gold are so thick that a normal Sluice doesn't quite do the trick. Instead, a Beach Box must be used to seperate the gold from its lucrative Hiding Place. The Gold bearing sands in this auction come from one of the many Black and Red Layers that lined the Beach after a recent Storm. It has not yet been run through a beach box, but instead was concentrated by Mother Nature. The Heavies in these sands are Super Thick, so it makes for Great panning practice. I have been doing this for years, and I still find gold my second time through a batch, so be sure to pan everything at least twice. I also recomend adding a drop or two of Jet Dry to the mix, as the flour Gold has a tendancy to float without it. I ran about 1 pound of this material and pulled about 1/4 gram of Buttery Yellow Gold. It was a quick run, so I know I missed some too. The beach Gold is a Flour Gold, with some small flakes, and its very plentiful. I cannot Guarantee the Amount of gold you will find in each batch, as it is unsearched, But I do guarantee that you will find Gold in Every Bag! Whether you're an expereinced panner, or just getting started, you will love working with these Historic and Wonderful Nome Beach Sands! This is the first time Nome Gold Beach Sands have been offered on ebay, so Have some fun with it.
