ANTIQUE VINTAGE BELGIUM LINEN This is a truly great find. While walking the streets of France I found a vendor who had worked in a belgium linen factory for 30 years and was selling his own "cloth", as he put it. I would put it as incredible, fabulous, and to die for. This fabric was wonderful body. The linen seems to almost stand by it's self but then slouches to it's knees to rest. The floral motif is actually embroidered onto the fabric. The reverse shows every stitch. This fabric was said to be over 40 years old but is in perfect flawless condition. No climatic stains or marks. The color of the ground linen is just that "raw linen" with a hint of oatmeal. Color of the florals include tomato red and deep ivy green. The weave has texture and is very soft. This fabric would easily sell for more than $200.00 in an antique shop or could be made into pillows or upholstery for thousands of dollars. 100% LINEN 2 7/8 YARDS REMAINING 58" WIDTH 8 1/2" H-REPEAT 4 1/2" V-REPEAT
