is one of several railroad lantern auctions we currently have listed. This auction is for 2 blue globes, not cobalt , an odd blue. Both have the same C sideways or horseshoe with NX inside, and one is marked E.R.R.Co and has a 1902 patent date. They are 5 1/2" high with openings (measured from the outside) that are about 2 1/2" and 3 1/4". Some chips on the edges and a firing flaw (shown), and some creases or imperfections in the glass, as is as found . We work hard to answer all emails, give accurate shipping quotes, and compare shipping options to find the best deal for bidders. We take pride in our packing, and we ship same or next day. Shipping is based on packed weight, plus insurance based on sold price, and a packing materials fee based on what is needed to pack the auction safely - 2.00 for this auction . Please take the time to read the information below as b idding is agreeing to all terms of the auction. PAYMENT DETAILS : PAYPAL OR U.S. POST OFFICE money orders only. Payment (in a form we take) due within 7 days of auction end. Do not pay until we invoice please. No communication within 7 days or late payments will result in unpaid item filings . QUESTIONS : Items are consigned and are described to the best of our ability with the information we have. If something is not clear, don âe(tm) t guess or assume, please ask. If we are not familiar with an item we may not know something is missing, or if it is "right", and that lack of knowledge is not an attempt to deceive. What is in the photos is what is in the auction and photos are part of the description. BOX LOTS or large groups or collections of items are not described individually but we will try to answer questions about a particular item you see in a box lot if possible. Box lots are as is as found no exceptions no returns, if something is obviously not in good condition we will certainly mention it, but we do not inspect every detail of every piece, that would prohibit listing with no reserve. SHIPPING : If an item is heavy, bulky, fragile or a if the auction is a box lot we will not guess and use the shipping calculator, especially as Fed Ex is not a choice and that is the shipper we offer as an alternative for domestic shipping on heavier/bigger items. For items w we have not used the calculator just ask and we will provide an estimate. Shipping quotes are estimates, t is no way to be exact until packed, weighed and measured. Insurance is required on all auctions so no first class international, sorry . The auction sold price is the only amount that will be used on insurance or customs forms. If an item can not be insured to your country for the auction price or it is prohibited to ship that type of item we may have to sell to the back bidder, it is your responsibility to know your country's limits and restrictions. On occasion express offers enough insurance coverage when priority international does not . DAMAGE/RETURN POLICY : If you receive a damaged item either party can start a claim, do not throw away the box or packing materials until it is inspected. If you receive an item and it is significantly different than we described, contact us within 3 days of receipt. Items sold as is as found are not returnable. Items are not sold on approval and if you are unsure about anything please do not bid without asking questions, and we will not accept a return based on something subjective or because the color did not fit in to your decorating scheme once you got it - this is not Wal-mart. We are selling antiques and collectibles and used or older items which will have imperfections, wear, minor damage, sometimes odors, or other age or use related issues, and occasionally hidden repairs.
