Two Old Garden Sprinklers / Sprayers The heart shaped sprinkler is zinc or cast metal. It is stamped with the number "74" and measures 3 1/2 " wide x 4 1/2 " tall. When water force is applied the little fan shaped swivel twirls around directing the spray in the direction the fan is pointing. The helmet shaped sprinkler is all copper and is stamped on the bottom " HANDY FOUNTAIN SPRINKLER PATENT APPLIED ". It has spray holes along one side only. It measures just under 4 1/4 " across and stands 2 1/2 " tall. Select an Image to Enlarge. The heart shaped sprayer shows some surface rust , light pitting and oxidation spotting and casting chips ( factory caused ) around the hose end which does not affect its function. The copper sprayer shows some white paint splatter and has a number of dents and dings. If the sprayers are to be used, new washers will be needed as the original ones are brittle and cracked.
