These two old tin 1 Gal. measures were found in the pantry of an old Maine farm house. One has the original manufacture's label; PURITAN WARE, The Central Stamping Co., N.Y. Originally they probably had hinged lids that are missing. I believe they date to the early 1900s. Condition: T is evidence of normal use with small bumps and wear, but no signs of excessive wear, cracks, dents, or holes. Important Shipping Information: Invoice will be sent day after end of auction and will include an insurance option. We use U.S. Mail.
