I am offering for auction 2 beautiful antique soup bowls made by the Noritake Co. of Japan. The pattern name is Glenwood. The backstamp reads as follows:Noritake China-a wreath with an N in it-Japan-5770-Glenwood-U.S. Design Pat. 181393. I have placed a photo of the backstamp on the dinner plate auction page. This paten may be seen on Replacements. The pattern has been discontinued. This pattern was manufactured between 1956 and 1981. The design consists of pink roses on a white porcelain backgraound. The border design is done in gray and tan and the edge is embellished in platinum. Each soup bowl measures about 7 3/4" across. The soup bowls are in excellent condition. I see no chips or cracks. I have recently acquired a large set of this antique china ahich I will be ofering for aucton. T are all the regular table setting pieces and many serving pieces. I am happy to combine autions to save on shipping costs. Just let me know when you have completed your bidding. Shipping costs will be determined by zipcode and weight at the closed of the auction.
