You are bidding on a pair of beautiful hand painted Nippon vases from probably the 1920's. One is signed with the Moimura Brothers (Noritake) mark used circa 1911-1921. I will describe the vases in general and then get into specifics with each one. Each vase is 12" tall, about 9" wide at the widest point, with a 3" opening. The vases have 2 gold handles on either side with gold accents on the top and the bottom of the vases. The pictures on the vases are of some ruins-possibly roman that wraps around each vase. At the top of the vases are gold accents with moriage points dotted around the top. T are also moriage flowers at the top and bottom. The flowers and the moriage are set off by a lovely dark green background. On one side the flowers are outlined with gold moriage. On the other side the flowers are outlined in gold but the flowers themselves are also a raised enamle. the bases are very fancy and beautiful with a dark green on one and a light green on the other. The bases also have golden moriage accents. The vases read more
