2 Ceremonial Collars Regalia Odd Fellows IOOF ORNATE Item Description Odd Fellows - I.O.O.F. Two Ceremonial Collars In Original Box! With Labels! This auction features 2 authentic ceremonial collars. These collars were worn together at formal functions and meetings. The star denotes rank in the fellowship and the 3 metal chain links that hold the collar together in the front are the symbol of this fraternal organization. The pink and green "ribbon" collar is decorated with gold metal trim. The large medallion has a large gold metal star in its center. This collar measures 13-1/2" across. It appears hand stitched. The side panels of the large collar are ornately decorated with gold metal embroidered flowers, leaves and vines. These patterns are 9" long. They are sewn on pink velvet which is edged with gold metal trim. The pink is contrasted with a dark green velvet border. The outer edge of the collar is trimmed with gold metal fringe. Two 3-1/2" tassels are sewn into the points of the collar. The collar is lined with dark green satin. The satin is decorated diamond-shaping stitching. The original label is sewn into the neck. It reads "The Fuller, Regalia & Costume Co, Worcester, Mass." The collar measures 13" (outer edge to outer edge) across the shoulders. Both collars are stored in the original box.
