Up for auction are these TWO vintage post cards of golf courses in SUSSEX , with the captions: 1. THE ROYAL GOLF LINKS, EASTBOURNE This is VALENTINE'S SERIES No. 21681 (printed in small type on front bottom left corner). It has not been postally used, but has been written on in pencil as can be seen in my photo. 2. THE GOLF LINKS, WORTHING This is a postally used ARTIST SIGNED post card. It was posted locally from Worthing on October 16, 1907. Printed on the back in small type is 'South Down' Series (No. 2) S.C, H. British Production. I have included a close-up of the artist's signature on the front bottom left corner of the card. I cannot make out the name. This is part of a large collection of golf-related postcards. Most are from the USA, including cartoons, ladies, clubhouses, RPPC, hand-coloured, etc., including some from Augusta National and many other famous courses. In addition, many are from British and European courses, including famous St. Andrews. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SPECIFIC GOLF COURSE , PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I will not sell individual cards off-line from eBay, but I will put up for auction any cards I have for specific golf courses that you may wish to bid on.
