2 Handled Loving Cup Tennis Trophy 1929 Men's Singles Click Photos to Enlarge Description Up for auction is a vintage antique two-handled loving cup trophy. It is from the Los Angeles Municipal Tennis Association Championship Tournament held in 1929, and is for Men’s Singles. The center medallion is a likeness of the Los Angeles City Hall, and it says Municipal Sports Division, Los Angeles Department Of Playground and Recreation. The trophy is silver plate & the base is wood with a dark finish. The trophy was made by the Superior Silver Co. It is in great shape. It was lacquered and some of it has worn off. T are no big dents or dings, and t are a few minor scuffs & nicks and some small scratches on the 29. The finish on the very bottom of the wood base is flaking off The trophy is 12 inches tall and 4.25 inches in diameter. The handles are 7.5 inches across. All items are guaranteed to be as described.
