A large, heavy Waltham Half Hunter solid 9ct Gold Pocket Watch, made in USA. Beautiful condition, runs well & is still very accurate. Now had to find !! It appears that most have sadly gone to the great melting pot in the sky, making those that survive all the more valuable.....a handsome investment for someone. This watch has been loved and respected all its life...nearly 90 years old now ! As its so well-built, there is no reason that this could not be used as an everyday watch again in a 3-piece suit perhaps, which I believe the trendy youngsters are doing again ! 95g gross weight, 42.3g without the mechanism. 50mm diameter without winder. Acetate clear cover, no bullseye-I do not believe it ever had one from new..... Reg number 24128057on Mech & case. Made in USA, case made in UK in 1925. Very small dent on back. Curvee, winder and ring all UK hallmarked gold. Large, bold, clear hallmarks. The gold ring holding the acete has come off when I weighed the case.....I may be able to clip it back into place before she goes out.
