FINE POINTED SCRAPERS Typology : Set of two pointed flint scrapers. Cutting : This pieces were created using flint flakes. The sides and the points are finely retouched. E vidence of useware is still visible . FINE COLLECTABLE PIECES ! Dating, hominid : These implements belong to the early Acheulian Culture (Lower Paleolithic period, circa 500 000 years ago), and was conceived by Homo HEIDELBERGENSIS. Origin : It was found in the Grand-Pressigny area, discovered in the Creuse's ancient riverbed, w the flint was polished in the turmoils of the sands and waters. Sizes : 11 cm and 12 cm Weight : 410g A beautiful patina embellishes these tools from the Acheulian Culture . Very well preserved , no modern damage .
