Not too long ago, when Lord of the Rings was on everyone's minds, I bought these two orc prosthetic mask on ebay from a special effects artist named Chris Hanson with the intent of doing my own fantasy film complete with monsters, warriors, battles, you name it. It was going to be awesome. Then the full reality of the logistics set in and I wondered how the yak I was going to accomplish this. Two orcs do not a battle make. For that and many other lame excuses they have been kept in storage until two weeks before Halloween 2007, when others may have more immediate and concrete plans. (For a third orc mask that is fully painted and covers down to the shoulders, see my other auction.) These are full head foam latex prosthetic orc warrior/gargoyle style masks. The foam is very supple and has no signs of aging or decay. The blending edges are very thin and the overall creation is very professional. These are unpainted prosthetics. They both come in two pieces, the face and the headpiece. The headpiece has no zipper or velcro fastening, it is a relatively full piece for 360 degrees of detail. The faces are a bit on the thick side, but as they are unpainted they are very flexible, moreso than the companion orc mask auction I set up yesterday.
