Up for your bidding consideration are two important titles and a must have for anyone who is interested in the flora of the Hawaiian Islands. From the personal library of noted Hawaiian historical figure Randolph Crossley they are in very fine condition. Title number one is "Plants Hawaii National Park," profusely illustrated by noted author Otto Degener. It has descriptions of Ancient Hawaiian customs with numerous images and also an introduction to the geologic history of the islands and is 312 pages in length in its original mottled faux buckram binding. Published by the Star Bulletin Press in Honolulu it is an extremely fugitive book. The second title in the original binding as issued is "Poisonous Plants of Hawaii," by Harry L. Arnold, MD, and was published by Tongg Publishing Company in 1944 and is illustrated as well. As with all of our auctions these two books being sold as one lot are being put up without any reserve what so ever so good luck and be sure to check out our other rare and interesting Hawaiian and Pacific listings.
