This auction is for 2 cordial stemware glasses made by Tiffin. Pattern #R15078 made before at least 1934. This pattern has been discontinued for quite a long time. In researching these I found that the only documentation for the public was part of their 1934 catalogue. This pattern is extremely rare and as one glass collecting group stated...much more elusive than the Cambridge nude stemware and beautifully detailed and classic in design. These are truely breathtaking. I couldn't take enough pictures of these. Under every lighting they show their beauty. I will state that I have never had the priviledge of being able to photograph such absolute stunning beauty. They have a clear bowl with frosted stem. Measure's 5 1/4" with 1 1/2" across the bowl. You will not be able to come across this pattern easily. On a formal dinner table with a dimmed chandelier, these stemwares literally are stunning. I have numerous other photos if needed by request.
