~*#*~ NO RESERVE ~*#*~ Very hard to find & desirable! Up for bid are a pair of vintage adorable ~ Dutch Boy Laundry Sprinkler & Dutch Girl Laundry Bottles. They measure 7 3/4" tall & are sweet as can be. I have no idea who made this vintage set - neither is marked. They are both in terrific condition with NO chips, nips, or cracks - the gal does have some normal age related crazing. Hand painted, under the glaze decorated with green accents, blond hair & rosy cheeks. The boy retains the tin / metal sprinkle lid & it has a bit of corrosion. I think she is a laundry bottle - she has a large type cork stopper hole in her base bottom & a small hole on the back of her head (I suppose for dispensing starch or soap?). Either way, I found these charming kids together & will sell them together as they w obviously made to go together.
