Huge variety of newspaper clippings from mostly the 1930s and 40s. Everything to the Duke and Duchess of Windsor to Shirley Temple to print of an etching of Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh signed in pencil J. Knowles Hare to General MacArthur to President Eisenhower to Abe Lincoln. Both scrapbooks are packed full. T is even a picture of Henry Ford and his first tractor, receiving Germany's highest award "the grand cross of the Order of the German Eagle." T are articles and pics of the Lindberg kidnapping, the Dionne quintuplets, Winston Churchill and Will Rogers. The young Queen Elizabeth, the quints visiting the Queen, poems, news-worthy articles of Texas happenings, even a few on the Panola County Courthouse in Carthage, TX. Both scrapbooks are in good conditions. 47 pp. in one and 63 pp. in the other. This is close--I counted fast. If you are a scrapbook lover--these are great. Very historical.
