are ~2~ older, nail pullers. They are both "SUREGRIP". Both made out of steel. One of them says: PATENTED SUREGRIP SEPT. 9, 02. THE BRIDGEPORT HDW. MFG. CO., U.S.A. The other one says: No. 58-SUREGRIP, MADE IN U.S.A. BRIDGEPORT HARDWARE MFG. CORP. The one with the PAT date measures approx. 18 1/4" long (closed) and the other one is about 1/2" longer. Open, they are about 23" long. Both still work fine. The one with the PAT date has a slight chip on the end of the handle. Both terrific items for a collection...always good to still use!
