We have two wood carving/whittling knives that I recently acquired at a local estate sale. The first is labeled Whittlin' Jack, and measures about 7 inches. It is heavy, sturdy, and the blade extends into the hardwood handle 2 1/2 inches. The second is labeled Bracht, Germany, and measures about 6 inches. It is also heavy and sturdy, and the blade extends into the hardwood handle a little over 2 inches. Both are in excellent condition and seem to be used very little, if at all.
