This sale is for 2 greeting cards. These are not the normal postcards but actual cards. Both covers are hand embroidered beautifully. These were the cards that the WWI soldiers sent back home during service. Both are ID'D. Each is written to - "Miss Daisy S Fisher" and each is from - "Pvt 1cl (first class) Stanton M (or W) Patsches (or Patscher). The front of the first card reads -- With Fondest Love --- Remembrance. Inside reads - Far from you but thinking of you. I send a card to wish you joy, good health, wealth and success. And any other thing that may Lead to your Happiness. The front of the second card reads -- United for Liberty - Remebrance. Inside reads --- Wishes are nothing tis the heart - tht int he few lines dwells and says to those from us apart more than the greeting tells. Both are in very good condition. The embroidery is intact. These will frame beautifully. T was a Daisy Fisher who was an actress and whether or not this is her, I don't know. Each card is 6 1/2 x 4 inches.
