Giant Squid Astern Sir! Up for auction is an outstanding original fine art print depicting the Nautilus from the 1954 movie, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. I administer a large Nautilus club and this limited edition fine art print was masterful executed by one of our members as a fund raiser back in October of 2006. The creator is David McCamant who is a a professional artist whose work can be seen in California galleries. The theme of this piece is when the Nautilus was attacked by the giant Squid. It was at this very moment that the first mate looked through the aft window of the wheelhouse and exclaimed to Captain Nemo: "Giant Squid Astern Sir!" And in the next few minutes the Nautilus and her crew would fight for their lives. Sadly, we are forced to sell this collectible to pay for on going club expenses. Overall Dimensions of the print is 24" X 36" and printed using the Finest Archival Inks onto High Quality Semi-Gloss Acid Free Poster Stock, and of course is suitable for Framing. It was printed using the highly respected Giclee print process and is signed by the artist.
