Lovely Antique China Head Doll w Cloth Leather Body Up for your consideration is this beautiful china head doll with blond hair. She is just lovely, with a deep part in her wavy blond hair, painted facial features with brown eyebrows, blue eyes, red eye lines, red lips, red tinted cheeks, red dots in the nostrils, the wave of the hair outlines the face very nicely and the back has a nice form as well, not curls like I normally see. She has a two hole shoulder plate which appears to be glued on, I do not see any ties, I cannot take off the clothes they are sewn on, I can feel and see most of the shoulder plate and it appears to be in very good condition. She has an old jointed cloth and leather body, the lower portion which is pictured is hard stuffed cloth body with leather knees, I cannot see the top portion of the body since the clothes are attached, I have a feeling that the arms have been replaced and are probably newer, the hands/arms are bisque and appear to be newer (see pic), the upper body is well stuffed and is probably cloth, she is wearing a lovely handmade green dress with leather accents and apron, there are holes in the lace, she has a wonderful cotton half slip on with great embroidered detail, she is wearing well worn shoes but I do not think these are super old, may be reproductions. All and all, just a beautiful doll, from her sweet face, lovely style hair, nice green dress, and cloth body with leather knees. there is a small hole in her left leg towards the shoe, some stains on the body, the china head appears to be in very good condition from what I can see and feel. I do not see any maker marks, the dress has been resewn under the arms and the lace does have some rips or holes. She measures 20" tall. Sold As Is. I will combine shipping!
