Hello, I'm back to listing 'Buddy' Alan Basinet's marble collection. As you may recall I was selling off Alan's collection of Contemporary Art Glass marbles after his passing to support his parents. In November of 2014, Alan's father passed away. His mother passed in 2013. I decided to take some time off from selling. Then my work schedule got changed around. Finally it's approaching something like normal. You'll notice some differences in the auctions. I'll be selling more lots instead of individual marbles. All proceeds, minus a commission, will go to local pet rescues per Alan's final wishes. As before I will not accept returns. 20 pounds of Akro Agate marbles in a medium Flat Rate box There are augers, 2 and 3 color specials, Popeyes, flinties! Corkscrews galore! Patches, Dug examples, Slags! Shooters over an inch all the way down to 9/16. These marbles range in condition from mint to polished. There are many polished and buffed marbles. There are many that aren't polished that are rough. There are many that aren't polished that are near mint and better. ALSO, there are a few scattered non- Akros but not very many of them I tried to pick out those as they showed up. Sure I missed a few though. My scale topped out at 20 pounds and a couple of ounces.
