Group #3 You are bidding on Five (5) complete 2000 U.S. Millennium Coinage and Currency Sets. These sets are Mint-sealed and remain in pristine condition just as received from the U.S. Mint. I purchased these scarce sets in 2000 directly from the U.S. Mint. For the last 15 years they have resided in a climate-controlled vault. A mere 75,000 of these sets were made, and the Mint sold-out very quickly. Because these sets remain sealed, they are eligible for grading by the Major Grading Services with "Millennium Set" designated on the slab inserts. The grading services will not render that designation if they receive opened sets to grade. These sets contain: - An uncirculated 2000 Silver Eagle, containing one troy ounce of .999 fine silver, that was minted at the West Point Mint; - An uncirculated 2000-D Sacagawea Golden Dollar with a special, rare Burnished Finish, similar to the special finish on the 5000 Sac Dollars paid to Glenna Goodacre by the U.S. Mint as her design fee for this coin; - A crisp, uncirculated U.S. Federal Reserve One Dollar note with the serial numbers starting with the digits '2000'; - A U.S. Mint COA; - A Historical booklet-like interior addressing the enclosed coins and currency and the New Millennium.
