This is an adorable ceramic compote dish from Mary Engelbreit . It was produced in 2001 by Michel & Company, and measures approximately 3 1/4" tall and 6" across.This compote is on a pedestal, and it has vivid colors of black, white, pink and red. The top of the dish reads, "Sweetest Heart" with a red heart in the center, and t are 8 pairs of dangling cherries around the outside edge. This compote would be perfect for Valentine's Day, but could also be used for any other day as well.The ONLY imperfection I can find on this piece is that 2 of the 8 dangling cherries are missing a white bead which sits on top of the dish (barely noticeable). Otherwise, the entire compote is in perfectly MINT condition.The original price sticker in the amount of $25.00 is still attached to the bottom of the compote.This Mary Engelbreit ceramic compote would make an EXCELLENT addition to any ME collection!
