This collectible musical snow globe depicting the New York City skyline and Broadway Musical Shows in 2001.It plays the winter classic "Let It Snow" Music plays great and globe is in wonderful condition. The New Year's Eve ball has just dropped on Times Square, ringing in 2001 which is shown at the top of the staff. Surrounding the ball is the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and the World Trade Center Twin Towers, to name a few. But the focus in on the Broadway theater district: the Shubert, the Palace, the Plymouth and St. James Place. The musicals depicted around the base include "Rent", "Seussical", "The Lion King" "The Phantom of the Opera", "The Music Man" and "Aida". Walking around the base are tiny figures: lady with baby carriage, fire hydrants, street vendor and cart, families.
