I love to see a Christmas tree all ashimmer in sparkling silver and glittering gold amid the soft glow of white lights. To me, such a tree has always appeared simply magical! From the well-known silversmiths Reed & Barton, the 2001 sterling silver Francis 1st Wreath, 4th in the series. This ornament is based on the flatware pattern of the same name first introduced in 1906 and named after King Francis I of France. Still popular today, the pattern is classic and timeless. Please note that this is not the picture frame wreath. This quality ornament is app. 2-3/4" in diameter, hollow and undated. You will receive a red felt anti-tarnish pouch and a Reed & Barton box, but they are not original to the piece. The face of the ornament is in Excellent condition. The obverse has a very light dent, which is not visible from the front, and shows scratching consistent with age, normal use and polishing. The engraving on the back of Reed & Barton, etc. is faint. Free shipping entails 1st Class mail, well-wrapped in a bubble mailer with Delivery Confirmation. Returns are not accepted unless the item is not as described. Payment is expected within 5 days of auction closing.
