EXACT BALL PICTURED:Rare Rawlings 2003-2004 Official Major League Baseball - Serie de los Expos de Montreal - Official game ball for the Montreal Expos, which become the Washington Nationals. The Montreal Expos played 22 regular season "home" games in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2003. This is the ball used. "Serie de Expos de los Montreal" replaces "Major League Baseball" on the stamp. The Puerto Rican National flag and the Expos flag logo are featured above a small MLB logo. Please see photos for condition as this ball has a few small toning spots, but is probably considered near mint. There is no box for this item, but it will be shipped securely via USPS Priority Mail. This ball would an incredible collectable (as is) or if signed by any of the Puerto Rican players who played in these games: Jose Vidro, Javier Vazquez and Wil Cordero, for the Expos, or other Puerto Rican players from visiting teams. About the Event: This special event baseball was produced for and used in at least 22 regular season games at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, PR. According to the records, this venue averaged over 14,000 in attendence - or 2,000 more than Montreal was pulling for their own team's home games.Free s/h
