There will be a sixth volume but we are not certain about a seventh. The next book will deal largely with Wm. Goebel an Carl Schneider but other makers will be covered as well. If you have dolls in your collection which you would like included this series, now is the time to send photos. Submissions may be sent by e-mail or as hard copies. Please give sizes, numbers, and any markings.Out of welcome necessity, the authors have become associated with a great many people over the years who have contributed in myriad ways to the production of these volumes. Some of these individuals are, regrettably, little more than names to which we have attached a sense of familiarity while others are true friends with whom we have broken bread and shared a pot of tea. All are valued and, when one is lost, it is felt.In recent times, many sad notices have come our way informing us of yet another loss. These little books may be insignificant within the larger picture but for what momentary pleasure they may afford we must give credit when due and acknowledge the passing of those who helped make them possible and whose lives pleasurably touched ours -- even for a moment."Written and self-published
