Carousel collectors is an amazing piece made by Lenox 2006 in a Limited Edition of 3,500 pieces . ~ The Lenox Carousel Prince Sculpture ~ is crafted of Lenox fine porcelain accented with 24 karat gold, hand painting, and hand-applied art, has a base crafted of wood, bears the Lenox hallmark and stands 9 1/2" tall. During the golden age of the carousel , master carvers newly emigrated from Europe created some of America's most beautiful works of art . None were more fanciful than the imaginative carousel menagerie animals - lions, rabbits, giraffes, even frogs! Inspired by those carousel treasures of old, the artists of Lenox have created The Carousel Prince . Artful sculpting portrays the frog mid-leap and dresses him in noble finery evocative of medieval courtly garments. This piece is brand new in origanal Lenox box with Certificate of Authenticity.
