Hi. You are looking at one limited edition Autographed Card, #112, from the 2006 Upper Deck Future Stars set, from the Clear Path to Greatness Signatures subset, featuring 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon, in his rookie season. Card is an acetate surface, that is see-through in multipe areas, and has the Rookie Card logo in the lower left hand corner, and Papelbon's signature in blue sharpie on the right. The back of the card says "You have received a card that includes a personal autograph from Jonathan Papelbon. This signature was signed in the presence of a company representative and/or sent from, and certified as to its authenticity by, Jonathan Papelbon." Papelbon has pitched in 135 career regular season games, after playing college baseball at Mississippi State. In the regular season, he has compiled a record of 8 wins and 6 losses, with a 1.62 ERA, 72 saves, and 193 strikeouts in 160.2 innings pitched. On October 11, 2007, Papelbon was named the 2007 winner of the "DHL Presents the Major League Baseball Delivery Man of the Year Award." Papelbon was selected to the 2006 and 2007 AL All-Star teams, holds the single-season record for most saves in a season by a Red Sox rookie in 2006, and is the first pitcher in Red Sox franchise history to have two separate 30 Save seasons. In his playoff career, Papelbon has pitched in 9 games, and compiled a record of 1 win and 0 losses, with a 0.00 ERA, 4 saves, and 9 strikeouts in 14.2 innings pitched. He has yet to give up a run in the postseason! Low starting price on this limited edition, autographed card from Boston Red Sox star reliever Papelbon, from his rookie season ! Card is in mint/near mint condition, any flaws seen in the picture are from my camera and flash. Card will be shipped in hard plastic top-loader protector, then wrapped in bubble wrap, and then shipped in a small padded envelope. Buyer pays shipping based upon estimated package weight and buyer country, shipping by USPS, payment by Paypal strongly preferred, however, payment by money order is acceptable if needed. Payment by personal check is NOT acceptable, no exceptions. After the item is won, I will send you an invoice. When sending a money order, please include a copy of the invoice, as well as your clearly written address. If invoice not enclosed, at least write down the item name or item number that you won! Please note that money order payment will potentially delay the shipping process. If paying by Paypal, insurance is offered as optional (insurance price varies depending on final cost, and is calculated by USPS/Paypal automatically).
