Octavo, gilt blocked cloth over card boards, 384 pages. Signed by Cronkite. Walter Cronkite (1916-2009) was an American broadcast journalist perhaps best known for his tenure as anchor of the CBS Evening News from 1962-1981, a period which witnessed the assassinations of President Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr., the Vietnam War, Watergate and the Moon landings. Now offered for your consideration is this 2006 autobiography of his story : A Reporter’s Life . Signed by Cronkite in blue ink on the title page. Condition notes: This octavo, measuring 9 ½ inches by 6 ¼ inches, is bound in gilt blocked cloth over card boards. Light shelf wear to DJ else all very good. Cronkite signed his name with a confident hand.
