This is a 2007 Uncirculated Australia Kangaroo (Silver Dollar) coin. This coin was packaged by Global Promotions (tan card). With a total mintage of only 4,000, the 2007 is the gem of the kangaroo series. It is the scarcest of all of the uncirculated silver kangaroos. Due to the reverse frosting of this coin, it exhibits reverse proof-like characteristics. This is due to the polished raised images with the delicately frosted background. The reverse depicts a kangaroo and joey under the shade of a gum tree, the weight (1 oz silver), the denomination ($1), and the Canberra mint mark (C). The Obverse displays a bust of Queen Elizabeth II with tiara and the minting year.
