FREE SHIPPING, NO RETURNS. EMAIL WITH QUESTIONS. 2007 BRITANNIA PROOF SET: Contains the equivalent of 1.85 troy ounce of pure silver + box of issue + certificate - excellent condition . This beautiful set of 4 Britannia proof coins was issued by the Royal Mint. They are all struck in .958 "britannia silver" which is a higher fineness than .925 "sterling silver". The coins are as follows: £2 Britannia - weighs 32.45 grams; contains the equivalent of 1 troy ounce of pure silver; diameter 40 mm. £1 Britannia - weighs 16.22 grams; contains the equivalent of 1/2 troy ounce of pure silver; diameter 27 mm. 50p Britannia - weighs 8.11 grams; contains the equivalent of 1/4 troy ounce of pure silver; diameter 22 mm. 20p Britannia - weighs 3.24 grams; contains the equivalent of 1/10 troy ounce of pure silver; diameter 16.5 mm. The total weight is equivalent to 1.85 troy ounces of pure silver. The final confirmed mintage is o nly 2,500 proof sets.
