Happy Holidays! These ornaments are being sold as a fundraiser for the Scholarship Fund at my children's school to help families in need of financial assistance. You are bidding on a new in box 2007 official White House Historical Association Christmas holiday ornament. This year's lovely ornament honors (twice) President Grover Cleveland. The color tinted illustration is a reproduction of an engraving that originally appeared in Frank Leslie's Illustrated Magazine depicting the President and his bride during their wedding nuptials. Frank Leslie's Illustrated Magazine, began in 1855 and was the first successful illustrated publication in the United States . The ornament also showcases themes from the Cleveland wedding album. On the front of the ornament, President Cleveland's monogram anchors a decorative border using orange blossoms from his bride's wedding gown. The back features the Frances Folsom's monogram. Stephen Grover Cleveland was the 22nd and 24th President of the United States - the only President to serve two non-consecutive terms (1885-1889 and 1893-1897). Grover Cleveland is the only president that has two White House Historical Society Christmas Ornaments. These impressive ornaments make fantastic gifts! Comes in its own beautiful decorated red gift box with descriptive brochure. Payment accepted by Paypal, money
