Up for auction: First ever Silkstone given at a National Barbie Convention! Commemorating 2009 in a big way, as Barbie turned 50, all attendees of the convention were lucky enough to get either a Caucasion, or African American Silkstone-Golden Gala, with no more than 1,200 made! From my personal collection, as always pet/smoke free, adult collector. Never-removed-from-box, NRFB, Barbie Golden Gala glistens from her head to her toes in hues of gold. Hair is honey gold, golden gown, golden spangles, pearl/gold drop earrings, long white gloves, wrist tag, gold/cream pumps, cream posing stand. Pearl accent cluster at waist, gown is topped by a bolero inspired jacket. Makeup is lovely with peachy blush, frosted peach lipstick. I added the pin: Barbie50 at the hem of the dress, can be removed if winning bidder doesn't want it. $50 value. Box has some minor wear.
