Coin in MINT CONDITION as received from the Royal Canadian Mint This is the 2010 Canada Olympic Winter Games: The Eagle Proof Silver Coin. This coin is legal tender of Canada and has a face value of $250. It is a FULL KILOGRAM of PURE SILVER . This coin is SO BIG that I have put a U.S. Quarter Dollar next to it in some of the photos to make sure you realize how BIG this coin is. As you can see in the third photo, it is almost THICKER than the entire DIAMETER of the quarter ! This Canadian coin is certified to be 99.99% fine silver with a guaranteed weight of 1,000 grams ... which is over 35 ounces ... and more than 2.2 pounds. The coin's diameter is 101.8 millimeters. The reverse design is selectively painted. The design of the Eagle was created by Xwa lack tun (Rick Harry), the son of a hereditary chief. Born and raised in Squamish, BC, Xwa lack tun is an internationally recognized artist. The coin's obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by artist Susanna Blunt. Includes Certificate of Authenticity and original Display Box and colorful Sleeve.
