This auction is for th 5 oz bullion 2010 Hot Spring pictured in this ad. The mild discoloration seen on the scanned photo is artifact from reflection of the central devices. This limited edition coin is graded by PCGS as MS65 DMPL . It presents well with an obviously deep mirrored finish along with clean filelds and devices. The grade of "65" has more to do with the outer rim dings common with these large pieces. Remember, these 2010 bullion pieces are not only sold out, but limited to a mintage of 33,000 each . Likely, these first year issues will not only be the lowest mintage of the entire series, but will carry extra value as the inaugural piece. Compare the mintage to the 2011 versions, all of which will exceed 120,000 each. The first two versions of the 2011 bullions (Gettysburg and Glacier) are close to 127,000 each! Regarding submission cost for third party grading services, the average cost is now around $60.00 for the large slab surcharge/grading/shipping with an added $18.00 for First Strike designation if this applies (this coin is not designted as First Strike, although technically elgible). Therefore, any graded specimen, especially with the acknowledged high grade deep mirrored appearance will add to the appeal and value of these fine coins for years to come.
