2011 Great Britain Silver Proof Piedfort Fifty Pence coin in excellent Fleur de Coin condition. Issued to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse, denomination below. It's reverse design depicts the WWF Panda logo surrounded by animals and symbols representing the work of WWF. Piedfort issue struck with double the thickness and weight of a standard 50p coin. It comes with the original case, capsule and certificate of authenticity (No. 179) as pictured. Low mintage. Struck by the Royal Mint in .925 Sterling Silver. It has a 27.3mm diameter and weighs 16 grams. Ref: Spink 4627, Krause KM#1196a Photos are of the actual coin being sold.
