You are bidding on a new 2011 MIB Lionel Pennsylvania GG-1 Locomotive train limited edition Hallmark Keepsake ornament. First seen in 1947, the legendary Lionel GG-1 is one of the most popular locomotives in the company's history. It is patterned after the Pennsylvania Railroad GG-1 Electric locomotive developed in the 1930's to speed passenger trains through northeastern rail corridors. Pennsy Electrics earned a reputation for toughness, and dependability for more than 50 years. The five-stripe Tuscan red paint scheme debuted in Lionel's 1955 Congressional set.This version of the 3rd ornament in the Lionel Trains series was issued in limited quantities and first available at the 2011 Keepsake Ornament Debut event.Handcrafted and metal.
