2013 Hallmark Lionel 2037 Steam Locomotive, 1130T Tender, 6017 Caboose & The Super O Minneapolis & St. Louis Work Train Set - All Mint In Box. The 1957 No. 1579S Lionel Freight Set belongs to the golden postwar era in model railroading. The outfit included the 2037 Adriatic 2-6-4 steam engine, 1130T Non-Whistling Tender and 6017 Caboose. This simple, sturdy freight combination formed a solid foundation for many a beginning railroader. The 2037 Adriatic 2-6-4 Steam Engine enjoyed a long production run in the 50's and 60's heading up different freight sets. This black powerhouse puffed smoke, shone its working headlight and barreled down O gauge tracks with Magne-traction, giving it serious pulling muscle. Three Mini Ornaments - Minneapolis & St. Louis Work Train-MIB. The Super O Minneapolis & St. Louis Work Train Set featured the attractive GP-9 diesel engine, along with a functional Crane Car and Work Caboose. Lucky kids found the set under the tree in 1958... and it's still on a lot of collectors' wish list today. A great addition to any collection. Check out my other items !
